INTERNATIONAL KINDNESS RALLY

In 2016, Redford Jaycees’ member Susan Dials had an idea – to give people the opportunity to spread kindness to combat negativity and conflict. She launched a project in which teams complete random acts of kindness in the time allotted. The project generated more than 1,200 acts of kindness in 3 hours. It generated so much attention that in 2017 it was adopted by JCI Michigan and in 2018 it expanded internationally with teams participating as far as Australia. The project continues to grow with more than 30 countries planning to participate in the future!
